Mortal Citizens Dec 2022 - Snek, Snotling Thief

Image
My last entry for #mortalcitizens 2022 is one of the original C14 snotlings, a sneaky git named Snek. The theme for December was Ruffian/Criminal , so of course I had no problem finding a fitting greenskin. Snek is always skulking around, eager to pinch any valuables that he can find. I absolutely adore this miniature, it was sculpted by the Goblinmaster himself, Kev Adams. It's one of the largest snotlings from this range and definitely deserves it's own base. Brett Gleed found a fantastic use for this fellow in his Mordheim warband . It was actually quite difficult to get good pictures of this nasty skulker, but I think they turned out quite good. This model is my fourth entry for Dave Stone's Paint What You Got Challenge .

Mortal Citizens Nov 2022 - Growler, Squig Hound

Image
My entry for November's #mortalcitizens is a classic squig sculpt from Warhammer Quest: Lair of the Orc Lord . The theme was Companion/Pet/Retainer and I think good old Growler fits it perfectly. Growler the Squig Hound has fended off generations of pesky adventurers that dared to intrude his master's lair. The colour scheme was inspired by the squig on the cover of the WH40K second edition Codex: Orks , which was a book that I studied extensively as a child. Of course this miniature is another entry for Dave Stone's Paint What You Got Challenge . I actually own the Orc Warboss Gorgut as well, let's see when I'll get around to painting him.

Mortal Citizens Oct 2022 - Toxeek, Spiderfang shaman

Image
The theme for October's #mortalcitizens challenge was Clergy and as the priests of the greenskins are their shamans, I decided to paint the forest goblin/spiderfang grot shaman from Shieldwolf Miniatures. Toxeek has had visions of the Spider God ever since he was bitten by a particularly venomous arachnid as a yoof. The miniature was painted in the quick Slapchop style, as I don't have a lot of time to paint minis at the moment. This is my second entry for Dave Stone's Paint What You Got Challenge .
